NEW TECHNOLOGY
An amazing opportunity to see battleflag restoration in progress now exists due to the recent installation of the Collections Cam. Watch as conservators in the flag preservation lab study, clean and prepare Iowa’s battle flags for display
The Collections Cam viewing area is located on the 1st floor of the State Historical Museum. It is available to visitors Tuesdays and Thursdays 10 am-12 pm, and by appointment.
Coming Soon: programs including video clips, blogs, classroom resources, interactives explaining the process of collections management and conservation, and other special programs
